In Loving Memory of
Dr. Stacy Blankenbuehler

Beloved Child Psychologist, Fierce Advocate, and Compassionate Healer Who Touched Countless Lives with Her Warmth, Wisdom, and Unshakable Love (1971 — 2025)

Celebration of Life: April 27

With deep sorrow and full hearts, we share the passing of Dr. Stacy Blankenbuehler, who left this world far too soon at age 53 on March 11, 2025, in Muncie, Indiana, after a courageous battle with cancer. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and healer, Stacy's legacy will live on in the countless lives she touched with her brilliance, warmth, and unwavering compassion.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 27, 1971, Stacy lived a life of fierce dedication—to her family, her friends, her community, and her life's work. As a gifted child psychologist, she was known and loved for her expertise in working with children on the autism spectrum and their families. She tirelessly advocated for early and accurate diagnoses, bringing clarity and hope to families navigating the unknown. Her impact on the lives of her patients and the broader community is both immeasurable and enduring.

But Stacy was so much more than her impressive professional accomplishments. She thrived in nature, found joy in cooking for those she loved, and brought her signature energy to mentoring young girls through Girl Scouts. Her Zumba sessions were less about fitness and more about the joys of friendship. She made every gathering brighter, every laugh louder, and every person feel seen.

Above all, Stacy cherished her time with her family and friends. She had a rare gift for making others feel truly valued, and her love was a steady, radiant force in the lives of all who knew her. Stacy is survived by her loving husband, David Lee, and their children Dawson and Delaney; her parents, Leslie and Scott Blankenbuehler; her sister Bevin; and her beloved grandmother Myrtle. She also leaves behind a circle of cherished friends, colleagues, and families who will forever carry her spirit forward.

A celebration of Stacy's remarkable life will be held on her birthday—April 27, 2025 Her celebration will be held at Mesker Park Shelter House 15, Evansville, IN. From 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM —to honor the love, laughter, and legacy she leaves behind.
